We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Junior Through The Line Media Planner to join our team in a fast-paced marketing agency environment. The Media Planner will be responsible for developing integrated media plans across both ATL and digital channels, ensuring campaigns are planned, booked, and executed effectively.
This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate closely with internal teams, media owners, and suppliers to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
Media planning
- Develop ATL and digital media plans aligned to campaign objectives and budgets
- Create detailed media schedules across channels including radio, print, out-of-home, digital out-of-home, and digital platforms
- Ensure media plans optimise reach, frequency, and audience targeting
- Present media recommendations and rationale to internal teams
Cost estimates & budget management
- Prepare and distribute cost estimates (CEs) for planned campaigns
- Ensure media plans align with approved budgets
- Track media costs and update financial trackers where required
Media buying & bookings
- Manage ATL media bookings with suppliers including Radio, Newspaper / Print, TV, Out-of-Home (OOH), Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH), Street poles, Bus advertising
- Liaise with media owners and suppliers to confirm availability, rates, and booking details
- Ensure all bookings are correctly documented and approved
Campaign reporting & analysis
- Compile Post Campaign Analyses (PCAs) to evaluate campaign performance
- Track and report on media delivery against the plan
- Prepare campaign performance reports for internal teams and clients
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve future campaigns
Campaign management
- Monitor campaign timelines and ensure deliverables are met
- Coordinate with internal teams including account management, creative, and finance
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Marketing, Media Studies, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
- 1–3 years experience in media planning, media buying, or advertising
- Experience working with media rate cards and media research data
- Experience working with ATL media channels and digital planning
- Experience with media planning tools or systems (advantageous)
- Experience with Google Campaign Manager or other digital platforms (advantageous)

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
- Strong communication and negotiation skills when working with media suppliers
